Since last summer Monte has been in semi-retirement due to complications of DUI sentencing and following probation.  Still we have booked a handful of shows this summer and plan to do more next summer.  The current lineup is fresh and sounding fantastic.  We are currently lining up our 2009 schedule.  Call us for your event next year!  We still are the best variety band you can hire for live entertainment!

RAVENS MOON is a rock and roll band from central South Dakota. Formed in 1992, the band has played thousands of gigs all over the Dakotas and occaisonally farther than that. In 1995 the bands self produced album NOVEMBER was recorded. It featured 12 original songs, including 'Closer To You', 'The Girlfriend Song', 'Late Last Night', and 'Life Is Hard'. Many of the songs became club favorites at regular venues, and remain locally popular today. Due to less than great production the recording was released on cassette with 100 copies made, which quickly were gone, and then the master copy was lost. At some point the album is going to be re-recorded in a more professional studio, and again released on CD. Find more about the band on other pages on the buttons at the top of this page.
